PUCHKA and Raymi Travels Perú are proud to support the work of AHUAQ WASI Textiles Foundation. AHUAQ WASI provides bursaries to Peruvian textile and folk artists in order, for example, to assist with costs associated with travel so that they may have an opportunity to research their cultural and symbolic past in Lima's museums. The Foundation also provides bursaries to textile and folk artists from all across the Andes so that they may come together to share information, knowledge and support. You too, as a visiting friend or an individual with a similar passion for traditional textiles and folk art and for the preservation of traditional textile practices, may join AHUAQ WASI in its mission.
